The august 2 goal was an added fixture this year and had an entry of four teams. This saw the return of Tony Lorenz's TLC team after a break along with the usual Grange team and also a Pluma Negra team and the Los Bandidos team. Games began on the Saturday with Pluma Negra taking on Los Bandidos in an even and fast paced game. Pluma started well and had a strong lead over their opponents but Los Bandidos came back into the game in the second half to take the lead but a last minute goal from Pluma ensured them a half goal victory and a place in the final. The second game was even closer than the first with both TLC and Grange taking the lead several times throughout the game. The game went into an extra chukka in which TLC were awarded a penalty which was then save by a member of the Grange team who took the ball to goal and scored to win the game.

The final the next day was between Grange and Pluma Negra. Grange started strongly scoring two quick goals and made it look as though were in for an uphill struggle for the rest of the game. However, Pluma came back hard in the second chukka leaving the score 4 - 3 in favour of Grange going into the third. The third chukka was a stalemate with neither team scoring despite end to end runs and well executed teamwork. With the scores still extremely close going into the last Grange stepped it up a level and were too much for Pluma to handle and left the final score at 7 - 4.

In the subsidiary final TLC played Los Bandidos in a game in which Los Bandidos could never really compete with their opponents and were comfortably beaten.
